How To Wash Your DTF Printed T-shirts The Right Way

A premium T-shirt deserves premium care. At ONTOP Lifestyle, every T-shirt is crafted from high-quality cotton and features premium DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing that delivers vibrant colors, sharp details, and excellent durability. With proper care, our DTF prints are designed to last for up to 50 washes without cracking, peeling, or fading.

Following a few simple washing habits will help keep your favorite ONTOP Lifestyle T-shirt looking fresh for years to come.

Why Proper Washing Matters

DTF printing is known for its flexibility, durability, and long-lasting finish. While our premium prints are built to withstand everyday wear, the way you wash and dry your T-shirt plays an important role in preserving both the fabric and the artwork.

Proper care helps:

• Keep colors bright and vibrant.
• Maintain the softness of the cotton fabric.
• Protect the DTF print from unnecessary wear.
• Extend the overall life of your T-shirt.

Best Washing Tips for DTF Printed T-Shirts

1. Turn Your T-Shirt Inside Out

Before washing, always turn the T-shirt inside out. This reduces direct friction on the printed design and helps maintain its original finish.

2. Wash with Cold Water

Use cold or lukewarm water (30°C or below). High temperatures can reduce the lifespan of both the fabric and the print.

3. Use a Mild Detergent

Choose a gentle detergent without harsh bleaching agents. Strong chemicals can affect the vibrancy of the print over time.

4. Wash with Similar Colors

Separate dark and light-colored clothing to prevent color transfer and keep your T-shirt looking clean and fresh.

5. Avoid Bleach

Never use bleach or strong whitening products on printed garments, as they may damage both the fabric and the print.

Drying Instructions

For the best results, air dry your T-shirt in the shade. Excessive heat from dryers can shorten the life of printed graphics and may affect the fabric over time.

If you use a dryer, select the lowest heat setting available.

Ironing Tips

Never iron directly over the printed design.

If ironing is needed:

• Turn the T-shirt inside out before ironing.
• Use a low heat setting.
• Avoid placing the iron directly on the DTF print.
